Silks / Hammock (Aerial Fabric)

Silks (also called aerial tissue, tissu, aerial fabric, etc) is a specialty fabric students use to climb, wrap, twist, bend, and drop in a variety of positions and movements. Fabrics can spin, swing, or remain static depending on how the student manipulates the silks. Silks can also be used as an hammock to further help with flexibility and conditioning.

**Please wear clothing that covers the backs of the knees and torso for all aerial classes, other than pole. This will help avoid burns caused by friction with the silks or hoop.
